I started this websight, because i was only able to find one other websight dedicated to these trucks. I would like to
share the information I have found during my restoration, and hope that some people will be able to help me out,and i can
help them out, when they find this site. I purchased my truck on Oct. 2 2004, for $800. At the time, this seemed reasonable,
but as i got into it, i found out that it was not in nearly as good shape as i had thought.
I have taken the frame from this truck and sandblasted it, and painted it black. It has new rear leaf springs, shocks,
and a 95% new brake system. It has new bushings, tie rod ends, kingpins and ball studs. The engine has all new rubber and
electrical parts, and runs well, although i have done no major work to it or the transition yet. I have dismantled the second
truck I bought, and removed the cab. Over the summer, I had it sandblasted, and welded in new patches where ever it had been
rusted. I primed and painted it and put it on the chassis. I have installed a new electrical system, as well as all the glass,
and doors. I am working on the interior, and am installing a modern stereo. My front fenders and front clip are very close
to being ready for paint, but it is too cold. once that is done all i have to do is the hood, and the bed to have it back
on the road. I plan to clean up the bd264 from the a130 and drop it in eventually.
I have many parts from the a130 i am looking to sell to offset the price of buying the truck. Let me know if your looking
